Jennifer Garley Pratt
Treasurer
My name is Jennifer Garley Pratt. I am a parent and a grandmother. I’m the Treasurer for the group, (Managing Group finances/ Petty Cash).
In 2016 I was given the opportunity to be a part of the founding members of CWMN’S group. As we work together as volunteers helping each other to put the awful past of our lives behind us, it boosts my passion to also act as a well-fare officer for the group, where I constantly check on group members and voluntarily travel to meet any member who I may get in contact with on my leisure time, who may just need someone to talk to, I will then go see them and pass on some information/ referrals if they need it.
I organise volunteer visitations and manage the CWMN’S general platform and the Facebook page by making sure group rules are followed to make our platforms a safe space. Seeing the growing need for inclusion and support in our community, put me on my path, and became a foster carer, in which I am working with vulnerable families and child safety focus!
I will forever be grateful to work alongside the CWMN’s team whose dedication, empathy, and inclusive practices ensure together we achieve the best outcomes for the group. My favourite part of this group is that we have such fun and enjoyable ladies to keep you company which will always put a smile on your face even if you are experiencing a sad moment. We are like a big family, I have made some lifelong amazing friends, and I cannot wait to add to the experiences we shared together in the past few years by the grace of God.
Lydia Clarice A
Public Relations and Administration
Dedicated, competent, creative, and kind individual who loves balance despite the pressures which modern life demands of us. I always look forward to our face-to-face meetings to think together, plan and stay connected. I also enjoy participating in group activities especially when ladies generously bring different cuisines of food for all to enjoy- it’s simply the best!
As a team, we can unleash CWMN’s full potential. “We are uniquely positioned to impact/influence women’s welfare, based on the services we offer and how we provide a safe platform for women to tell their story on the challenges they face without judgment, despite their background”.
To key decision makers re- Women matters in Government and the community at large, this is the time to infuse sustainable measures and development to create lasting experiences for women.
This year, our team’s main focus has been to search for more sponsors, aiming to establish lasting partnerships with government bodies and communities as well as negotiating with them to come on board so that together we can make a difference in people’s lives.
